Free Lamination of Covid Vaccine Card, In-Store
Until Covid vaccine proof goes digital, vaccination sites are giving paper
cards measuring about 4x3 inches, slightly smaller than a passport. Cards, given after your first shot and updated if your vaccine requires a second one, can be crucial documents for many things to come, such as international
travel.
If you wish to protect your card from damage:
Vaccination cards cannot be changed once laminated, but can be replaced by the location that provided your vaccine, should another dose or booster shot be available in the future.
Some large gatherings require proof of vaccination, so laminating your card may be a good way to show proof until other more convenient methods come out.
Some people clip their laminated cards to their passport, since future international travel may require proof of Covid vaccination. Even before the Covid outbreak, some countries of the world required proof of vaccination against infectious diseases including yellow fever, typhus, and smallpox.
