Viva trip gone bad (but still a great trip!) 11/3/13

A trip to Kmart is not complete without a little trouble lol.


This is what I tried to do:

3 Viva $3.99 ea.
3 David sunflower seed $3
2 Beneful tubs $1.99 and bogo
1 Belvita $3
1 Lindt chocolate bar $2.50
1 Advil coated 20ct. $3.99
= $28.44
- $3 off instantly wyb (3) viva
- $1.99 for beneful bogo
- (3) $1/1 viva doubled to $6
- (3) $1/1 david sunflower seeds
- (2) $1/1 purina item
- (1) $1/1 Belvita blueberry doubled to $2
- (1) $2/1 Lindt product
- (1) $1/1 Advil doubled to $2

Total: $6.45 ($5 points and gift card would have made it free)

^My $1 purina didn't scan, one David's seeds didn't scan, and my Advil coupon didn't scan. They refused to type anything in. I decided to just pay it.

I used my $5 in points and $2.23 on a gift card. Paid $3.36 on debit card. I then went to customer service to return the beneful and Advil (kept the extra sunflower seeds). I received a cash refund of $4.55 and $1.55 back in points.

In the end it worked out plus I got the $4 Catalina for viva. I have learned to just buy and return since they want to be difficult.
