i have checked on my tmo s8+, no update nor any way to add paypal right now, probably in their next update.

Big news for Samsung Pay customers in the United States: you can now pay for goods both online and in brick-and-mortar stores using PayPal.
While accessibility is restricted to the aforementioned region, it should make its way to other countries where Samsung Pay is currently available in the not-too-distant future.
