Many people (including ourselves) are using less cable, satellite, and broadcast TV, and more streaming media services. Buy a Roku, an Amazon Fire Stick, or a Google Chromecast, and you can sign up for Hulu, Netflix, CBS, and many other streaming video services.

We purchased a Inteset Universal Remote Control for $25 a few weeks ago, and love it. Like most universal remote controls, this is designed to control up to 4 devices, and is fairly easy to program. However the Inteset is one of the only remotes that can control streaming media devices (Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Xbox One, Western Digital TV Live, etc) as well as a TV and Receiver, and is priced below $50.

They also just released an IR Repeater/Extender for $26, for controlling your devices behind a cabinet or wall.

For comparison, a Logitech Harmony Smart Control can control the same devices as the Inteset (8 devices instead of 4), but costs much more than the Inteset. Granted the Logitech also includes an app, but these days, your mobile phone and tablet may give you the same home control features using a Roomie app.

While more people switch from cable TV to streaming services, it is good to see a new affordable universal remote controls compatible with streaming devices. If you are looking for a remote control for your streaming devices, Receiver, and television, the Inteset might be a hot deal for you.
