I dont get any benefit or commission for posting this. I dont work here but just a customer of this bank. Came across this promo and felt I can post it.

5% APY on upto $5000 balance for a checking account is as good as it gets. There are caveats though

• Need to do min 15 Debit transactions totalling at least $500 per month
• Need a direct deposit or withdrawal of $100 (this one is easier)

This may work for some of you or may not. It doesnt for me as I am not a debit user. Note that they also reimburse ATM fees of upto $10 per month
