I have 4 of these they have held up great and the strays that I have taken care of for years love them. I do keep them under the carport. They have a flap on front and back, so they can escape if they need to. Mine do not like the front flap so I just pinned a baby blanket over the entrance and they are fine with it. They don't seem to mind the back flap.


K&H Mod Thermo-Kitty Shelter $37.94 This is for the tan one. This is also the lowest price ever according to Camelcamelcamel.

I am ordering one of these for my inside kitties.
These are normally around $75, not sure why Amazonshows reg. price as $42.94.
Please notice these do only have one opening, no escape route. Personally, I would purchase the first house for an outdoor cat.

I have also purchase the K & H heated Kitty camper in the past, I would not recommend it. The cats have rarely used it and it did not hold its shape, It also had no flaps over the openings. This was the one for outside, not the one that is described for the inside. However, I would guess that it might have the same problem holding it's shape. I do not see the outdoors one on Amazonanymore,but just in case you find it somewhere else I wanted to warn everyone.
