This works in reverse (many people don't notice the 'vice versa' in title)
Flights are on Spirit Airlines, an ultra low-cost 'bare fare' air carrier that only takes you and your 1 small personal bag from point A to point B. Just for price comparison, the next lowest airfare is a hundred bucks more and makes 1 stop. I'd suck it up and use Spirit if I wanted to save money. Please be sure to refer to Spirit's policy and fees.
