If you are looking for a mid range edrum kit, this may be a good time to buy. Try calling the music stores. Most stores offered me an additional $100 off. I picked up a TD-11KV with a free bundle (throne and kick pedal). The store also gave me $100 off as part of their memorial day sale. Total after rebate: $1349 YMMV
