You can do this deal if you are a current Verizon Wireless customer, and

• Have at least one phone currently active on Verizon Wireless, and
• Not in a contract with Verizon, and
• Your phone(s) are fully paid off and not on lease.Your credit is good enough to qualify for a phone plan.

You can get:

• Unlimited data, talk, and text free for 1 year.
• Keep your phone and phone number.
• No contracts. Cancel anytime.
  Up to 5 lines.

You must have a working phone that you want to keep for at least 4 months. If you want a new phone within 4 months, consider purchasing a new phone after signing up for this deal and before activating the SIM card sent to you. The rep will tell you which phones work with Sprint, and what trade-in value your old phone may have.

To get the deal:

1. You need at least one phone number active on Verizon Wireless.
2. Call 866-782-8777 to sign up, and mention the Free Unlimited for a Year promotion.
3. They will send you new SIM card(s) for each phone you plan to transfer to Sprint. The SIM card(s) are free when you call (saves $3/each), plus $10 total shipping fee.
4. When you get the SIM card(s), you have a choice. Either:
   • Use your existing LTE-capable phone (list of eligible phones are shown on the bottom of their page), or
   • Buy a new, unlocked phone. It cannot be a lease, and must be a full price phone. Phones purchased from Sprint.com should be eligible, but phones purchased from a Sprint store are not eligible with the 1-year free service.
   When your phone is ready, call Sprint to activate and transfer your number(s) to the new Sprint SIM card(s) they sent you. Remember, to be eligible, each phone number must be transferred from an active Verizon Wireless account.

Your actual monthly bill will be free plus government taxes, which totals up to about $4 or $5 per month.

If you decide to stay with Sprint after January of 2019, you will pay regular price for the service which is $60/mo for the first line, $40/mo for the second, and $15/mo each additional line. Since there's no contract, you can cancel the service or negotiate a better plan at that time.

The phone(s) you active with this promotion must remain working for 4 months of Sprint service. After 4 months, you can purchase or lease a new phone and remain on the 1-year free plan. If your phone is replaced prior to 4 months of service, or if you change/active service on a phone purchased from a Sprint store, you will lose your remaining free months of Sprint service.
