Hi everyone, so this really seems to have gone unnoticed in the slickdeals domain, I did a bit of searching and I didn't find any thread related.

So I've had it with verizons crazy pricing, and since I was off contract on 3 of my 4 lines I was calling verizon expecting to cancel. apparently verizon (And seems ATT) has also stoops to tmobile pricing. I was on a minutes plan before, not a shared data plan.

The deal:

If you are off contract, ie up with your 2 years with verizon, you can get a mobile discount off your smart phone plan. ie edge pricing/discounts for shared everything plan. For me in the 6 GB plan that is 25$/mo off each smart phone line!

so traditionally a more everything plan is (for 6GB data example)

70$ + 40 dollars a smart phone. for 3 smart phones and a basic phone that is 70+40x3+20 dollars a month. 210 dollars a month!

with the new pricing scheme if you are off contract that is

70+40*3-25*3+20 dollars

making a 6 GB data plan, unlimited data/messages with verizon 135 dollars a month for 4 lines!

This is a great way to save if you don't want the latest and greatest smart phone or if you want to bring your own phone with verizon as a new custumer.

really seems like tmobile has rocked the boat here! when i called ATT, they have a similar type deal, but not confirmed. They told me this has something they recently started, and that seems true because I called verizon 6 months ago and they didn't offer me this so cheap.
