Shun Classics tasteful and contemporary design features beautiful 33-layer, Damascus-clad blades and ergonomic D-shaped ebony PakkaWood handles. Behind each knifes beauty is function: a razor-sharp blade offering precision performance.

Shuns VG10 steel coreknown for its incredible edge retentionis clad with Damascus stainless steel, then bead-blasted, revealing the woodgrain pattern of the steel, which allows the blade to slide easily through food. The result is knives that are sharp, durable and corrosion resistant, as well as beautiful to behold.

THE CHEFS KNIFE
The chefs knife is the kitchen workhorse. Perfect for slicing, dicing and chopping large quantities of fruits, vegetables, meats and more, its wide blade keeps knuckles off the cutting board and makes it easy to transfer cut food from board to pan. Thanks to a curved belly this chefs knife can be gently rocked through fresh herbs or spices to produce a very fine mince. Plus, a thinner blade makes it lighter and less tiring to use than comparable European-style chefs knives.

THE PARING KNIFE
The versatile paring knife is ideal for peeling, coring, trimming, decorating and other detail work. Generally, youll use this knife in your hand rather than against a cutting board, though paring knives can also be used for chopping small foods, such as garlic cloves.
