Now what is this? This motor driven roller adds another axis to your laser engraver, so you're not longer limited to only engrave flat objects. Like if you have a laser modul on your 3d printer, a CNC with a laser or a dedicated laser engraver, this enables you to engrave round objects.
By the way if you have a 3d printer but no laser I would absolutely recommend you getting one. These diode lasers aren't that expensive and you can create a lot of nice individual gifts etc.
