Sony PlayStation 5 Console (2020) $500 at Best Buy
Today, Sony announced that the new PlayStation 5 gaming console will be priced at
$500 and a base model without a disc drive (called the "Digital Edition) will be
$400.
The release date is November 12th, and pre-orders officially start September 17th at "major retailers," but tonight we're seeing some "blink and you missed it" pre-orders up at Best Buy, Walmart, Target and Amazon.
Sony is doling out pre-orders to existing customers who have
already registered (and will be contacted via email).
