I don't use pocket jigs as often as others, or for the same reasons. (I use the Massca myself as I'm not a tan of Kreg.) However, I got this single hole pocket jig from Trend a while ago, and I considered it a novelty tool. Then I found myself using it far more than I had anticipated. It's great for quick eyeballed ... wait for it... pocket holes.. but alsolarger beams, as I can connect them with 3/8 Iron rods going through mortised joints.
