Starting today until March 31, 2018, Sam's Club is offering a free 3-month extension on memberships or instead, a full refund of memberships. If you choose the refund, you have the option of an e-gift card (up to 7 business days) or an actual check (up to 6 weeks).

Despite being a solid deal my guess is to soften the blow of just suddenly closing 63 stores and not even telling the employees until they showed up for work.
