Good price per tricamel.

I have wanted a good value 12" Chef knife and Victorinox has a good reputation for value. This is cheaper than the average price of the Fibrox handle 12". Can anyone compare the wood vs Fibrox handle?

In the QnA section it says this knife is 2/3rd tang not full tang. I do not know if this is accurate or how it compares to the Fibrox version but I don't know if that matters in a chef knife.

How concerned should I be with this being a counterfeit since it is shipped by amazon and is there a way to tell if it is a counterfeit?
