The Liquid Gold is a fully differential, balanced, current feedback, solid state amplifier and has a built-in, fully balanced DAC based on the AKM AK4493EQ DAC chipset. The amplifier is microprocessor controlled using precision A-to-D and D-to-A conversions to manage and monitor the runtime behavior of all critical aspects of the circuitry. Original Post

From what i have seen people like this amp quite a bit. you can also use the DAC portion of it as line out for something else that becomes muted when plugging in headphones.
