10x50 binoculars (RS # 6300186) at RS Troy, MI) yesterday. Shrink wrap package also includes a pair of mini binoculars (opera glasses?).

I know we are not talking quality optics or anywhere near top of the line here. But what the hey for $7.47 I just couldnt pass it up. RS Troy, MI had 4 & & bought 3 pairs (one for me ; one each for family members). None on display at two other RS in the area so it likely will be hit or miss.

BTW I also bought the D Cell NiCad batteries (RS # 2300123) 2 packs posted earlier. These are 2000 maH. OP said $2.17 but mine were $2.87 (RS Troy, MI) bought the 2 2-packs they had left. I later went to another RS (Oakland Mall Madison Hts, MI) and they scanned $1.97 - bought the 4 2-packs they had left. The 2 packs I opened the bttys seemed to be already charged so I put them in some flashlights & am using them. Looks like only a residual charge will need charging soon..

Again YMMV -- if you can get these for $1.97 a 2 pack at your RS it would be a good deal.
