Default HP Printer Upgrade Rebates & Staples Printer Deals (or Other Stores) - Various Deals

(i searched if this is a repost since Jan 2009, but didn't see anything. My apologies if this a repost. Please let me know also how to make this deal better. Thank you. - From my OP on SD)

THESE DEALS WILL VARY WEEK TO WEEK
.

HP has a trade-in program (that some of you know about/have used) for upgrading to specific models of HP printers. See this LINK or see the below attachment. You will need 1 Junk/Used printer (which you can get off Craigslist for FREE). You can work a deal through Staples or other online Authorized Dealers.

Some words of CAUTION:
*** If you receipt shows or says INSTANT SAVINGS anywhere, it will reduce your rebate to possibly nothing/zero. To avoid this, buy it at regular price the week before it goes on sale, or buy it online without any coupon code for instant savings, get the printer shipped, call back later to get the Instant Savings credited back (easy to do).
*** If the printer is on SALE and the printer price just appears as the reduced price, you should be OK.
*** If you use a product specific coupon ($$$ of a specific model printer, that will reduce the rebate). But if you use a $$$ off a minimum $$$ (eg. $25 off $75 +) purchase that is OK

THE BEST WAY TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS IS TO:
Use $$$ off a minimum purchase, eg. 30 off 150, use any additional MIR from the manufacturer/store (eg. Staples) if they exist, use the HP Trade In rebate (in this post), and other ways of reducing the cost. Some examples Below:

*** $50 MIR for Printer Trade-In @ Staples $50 MIR for Printer Trade In[/url] (valid until May 2, 2009) - you will need a SECOND Junk Printer (free if you get off Craigslist)
*** Bank of America 8% Cashback
*** $25 off $75 E-Junkie Coupon
*** $30 off $150 E-Junkie

Possible Deals for week of 3/29 (does NOT include the 8% Bank of America CashBack):

1) P2055DN - Buy it this week for regular price (or next week online, but REMOVE the instant savings coupon). Get an adjustment after getting the printer.
NET PRICE: $299 - $50 Staples Trade In - $50 HP rebate - $30 E-Junkie coupon = $170

2) P2035N - Buy it this week for regular price (or next week online but REMOVE the instant savings coupon). Get an adjustment after getting the printer.
NET PRICE: $225 - $50 Staples Trade In - $50 HP rebate - $30 E-Junkie coupon = $95

3) CP3525DN - Buy it this week for regular price (or next week online but REMOVE the instant savings coupon). Get an adjustment after getting the printer.
NET PRICE: $899 - $300 Price Adjustment - $100 HP Trade In Rebate - $50 Staples trade-in rebate - $30 E-Junkie coupon = $420

Brother MFC-9010CN Digital Color Multi-Function Printer $219.99 after printer recycle and before coupons at staples.com Rating: 1 Posted By: schwoozer Views: 717 Replies: 0 Staples has the Brother MFC-9010CN laser multi-function color printer on sale for $279.99. Additionally, it qualifies for the recycle rebate, bringing the price to $219.99 if you have a junk printer to get rid of. Of course, coupons can be used to bring it down even lower. This printer has networking, but is not wireless. Four star review average at Amazon. Link to printer Link to recycling program

Because it is regularly priced at $199.98, it (barely) qualifies for the recycle rebate, bringing the price to $99.98 if you have a junk printer to get rid of. Of course, coupons can be used to bring it down even lower. The biggest drawback is that the printer seems to have no networking, but user reviews seem to be very...
